A Court of Thorns and Roses Book 2

This is the second book in A Court of Thorns and Rose’s series. Which picks up a few months after the first book ended. Feyra has changed so much, not just being fae, but what she has gone through. We also get to see different courts in this book, which build on the world that we have only glimpsed at. The High Lords are all so different and well developed, besides new characters that we meet.

First off, that we get to see the damage that Under the Mountain has created with the characters is brilliant. So many times a story will go through many trials and trauma, but then it’s written like they just moved on right after. That we see many characters having to deal with this and that it isn’t washed away by magic, making everything better, is perfect. I liked this book even more than the first because of that. My absolute favorite part of this book is chapter 54. Hearing Rhys’ story broke my heart but also endeared him to me. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series, A Court of Wings and Ruin.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:

“The seductive and stunning #1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas's spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.

As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world in turmoil.

Bestselling author Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her dazzling, sexy, action-packed series to new heights.”
