A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) Book 5
Nesta Archeron is angry and is spiraling in her own self destruction. The family has decided that it is time for her to have a change, otherwise she might kill herself. Cassian has been appointed as her train, which they all hope will help. She also must work in the House of Wind’s Library. Nesta doesn’t want any of it. Rhysand also wants Cassian to have more responsibilities and ask him to help by becoming a courtier. Something that Cassian doesn’t feel that he is qualified for.
This is the fifth book in A Court of Thorns and Roses series. The book is from the perspectives of both Nesta and Cassian. Nesta is so beautifully broken. Watching her struggle and yet learning about herself is so well done. I think I like her growth even more then I enjoyed reading Feyre’s. Cassian who feels that he is just a grunt works to through his own growth but is also the rock that Nesta needs, whether its to hit or to lean on. I loved this book and am so excited to hear that she is currently working on the next one in this series.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:
“Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.
The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.
Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.
Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.”
