Lexington is all business working long hours, but when his little sister calls to tell him to come home because she’s getting married, he drops everything. Carter is a party planner who has been brought in to plan the Island’s holiday events and now the engagement party of Liza Prescott and Orson Vauntero. Carter and Lexinton have to work together to help plan not only the events but the party as well, all while finding out that they are soul mates.
This is the first in the Night Realm: Christmas Marked series. It is a great standalone story that can really get you into the holiday spirit. Carter is smart and quick, keeping Lex on his toes. Lex can give as much as he takes. The two are brilliant and the dialogue between them is great. This is a quick read, once you get started you will finish fast. I like this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, Jingle My Bells.
