Otherworld Book 1

Before Elena became the one and only female werewolf she was a college student that had no one. Then she was bitten and now she wants to remove herself from the pack and have a normal life. Only something is happening back near the pack that could be dangerous for them all. Now she is being called back to fix the issue as fast as she can so she can get back to her human life.

This is the first book in the Otherworld series. The story is fast with great world building, since it uses a modified version of our world. This take on werewolves is different in the change to and from wolf is not painless or easy. Elena is brilliant and holds her own against all the men around her, even with in the pack itself. That she is the only woman the other men aren’t sure how to deal with her since they haven’t been around women. I like that this isn’t something that is glossed over and shows throughout the book with all the different werewolves. This book is brilliant and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series, Stolen.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:

“Elena Michaels is the world’s only female werewolf. And she’s tired of it. Tired of a life spent hiding and protecting, a life where her most important job is hunting down rogue werewolves. Tired of a world that not only accepts the worst in her–her temper, her violence—but requires it. Worst of all, she realizes she’s growing content with that life, with being that person.

So she left the Pack and returned to Toronto where she’s trying to live as a human. When the Pack leader calls asking for her help fighting a sudden uprising, she only agrees because she owes him. Once this is over, she’ll be squared with the Pack and free to live life as a human. Which is what she wants. Really.”
