Book 1 of Beasts of the Briar

I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan. I have collected fairy tales since I was very young and found out that many of them had been changed from the originals when I was a teen. This retelling of the tale is absolutely amazing. We still have the prince who is enchanted by an enchantress, as well as the rose slowly ticking away time. Only instead of one prince, it’s four and they are Fae.

The world that this takes place is amazing as it starts as if this is something that could happen today. Our main character finds herself in the magical world of Fae. The experiences that Rosalina goes through mirror a bit of what the past telling of the story is, only so much better. She’s modern and feels like she could be any of us. The princes are beautiful and flawed, which shows the diversity in them I feel some reverse harems don’t do very well.

This is the grown up Beauty and the Beast story that I am adding to one of my favorite books. It is the first book in an on-going series called Beasts of the Briar. The next book Woven by Gold comes out on June 13, 2023 and I for one can’t wait.

There is a prequel, Prince of the Arena, that you can get at Elizabeth Helen’s website. The prequel is such a delightful read, to meet the princes before they are all crowned. The main characters are Farron and Dayton, but all four are in the story. It also adds to the world in which Beasts of the Briar takes place. So grab your copy.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:

“Four beastly princes. One awkward bookworm. An enchanted world of fae, magic, and danger.

I’ve always loved fairytales. I never imagined I'd actually be in one.

When my father wanders into the enchanted realm of the fae, I know I have to go after him. And when he gets imprisoned, I'll do anything to save him... Even trade my freedom for his. I had no idea I'd end up imprisoned by four sexy fae who turn into beasts at night.

I have to win my freedom, and that means making a bargain with them. They must find their mates in order to break the curse. If I can help them do that, they'll set me free. Sounds simple, right?

It's not. Because against my better judgment, I'm starting to fall for these beastly princes. One is smart and sweet, the other mysterious and deadly, another flirty and confident, and the last prince... He's handsome, strong, has a wicked temper, and is dead-set against breaking the curse. Why does he want to keep me here forever?

But it's not just my freedom on the line. If I don't break the princes' curse soon, all the magic in the Enchanted Vale will be stolen by the evil—and stupidly hot—Prince of Thorns. And I'm not letting my princes stay cursed.

Not after I've fallen in love with them.

BONDED BY THORNS is a steamy adult Beauty and the Beast retelling set in a fantasy fae realm. In this version, our beautiful bookworm doesn't have to choose between the four sexy fae princes. It is a full-length novel that ends on a cliffhanger. It includes MF and MM content. It is intended for mature readers only.”
