The Belladonna and Her Beasts book 1
Katarina comes from a long line of powerful witches, only she doesn’t have a drop of magic. She is great at figuring out what is needed for a client and setting it up for her father. But she is a pariah within her family. Even her husband treats her badly, hitting her. When her father says that she has to help with a new job but is given no time to prep, only to be dumped with three strange men. Her only order is she has a year to break the curse.
This is another Beauty and the Beast retelling. Katarina is one of those characters that is a people pleaser, only to come into her own while she is trapped with Zev, Aeon, and Lucien. She will not sit by and accept that she can’t do anything. While the guys have years of issues, they are all so different that it makes for well rounded full characters. And I love Mr. Potter reminds me of a mix of all the staff from the Disney’s version of Beauty and the Beast. This is a brilliant book and I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here in Tortured Beasts.
