This book is one of those in which the main character Evie is unaware of her heritage and we get to come along for the ride of her own self-discovery. The story hooks you in right from the beginning. How the author writes together a contemporary setting and classic mythology makes the world fell as though you’re apart of it.
Evie is one of my favorite characters. It isn’t just that she is learning on the job but also just how she handles herself in the entire situation. If you haven’t read this book you really should. The story is brilliant and I highly recommend it.
