Dark Hunters Book 1

Grace has had it with guys, but her best friend Selena thinks she’s got the answer, a love slave imprisoned within a book. Julian of Macedon has resigned himself to the fact that he will never be free. Then he meets Grace who doesn’t understand her or her world. Now that Grace has Julian she has no idea what to do with him.

This book hits all the things that I love, books, magic, and mythology. Grace is the most logic character that you come across, not believing in any of Selena’s ideas. But once Julian enters into the picture it changes her whole world. The tale is brilliant as it takes place in modern day New Orleans. I love getting to meet Greek gods that have changed with the times as well. Though this book is set in the world of the Dark Hunters there are actually none that we see in this book. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Night Pleasures.

Product description and Images are from amazon.com:

“Dear Reader,

Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day.

As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She alone bothered to take me out of the bedroom and onto the world. She taught me to love again.

But I was not born to love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace--the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?

Julian of Macedon “
