Black Claw Dragons book 1
This is the first book in the Black Claw Dragons series. We are introduced to Ava and Maverick, who were high school sweethearts. Maverick left and disappeared before Ava found out that she was pregnant. Ava left and went on with her life, which hasn’t been easy. Now she has to move back and try to help her children with the changes that they are going through. Soon after moving back, she has a run in with Maverick, and he quickly learns he’s a father too.
The story is one that you can finish quickly and is enjoyable. I was looking for something quick and light, and this fit all of that. I really like the relationship between Ava and her children is so sweet. Maddox is your broody teen, not understanding what is happening to him. Then emotions become confused when he meets the father he never had, Maverick.
I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, Her Dragon Protector.
