Never After Book 1
This is a very different Peter Pan retelling. Wendy is Peter’s daughter in this story. Which is a contemporary dark romance in that there is no actual magic. The story takes place in the US, not in England. Hook is the out for revenge against Peter for something that happened to him a long time ago.
The uniqueness of this story is brilliant. The characters in the story all take different names from the original but are all mashed up. Hook works with the Lost Boys, not Peter. Wendy and Moira are two different people. For those of us know the story, you can see the twist to modernize and yet have a connection to the source material I started this book and couldn’t walk away till it was over. The story kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen next. I loved that I felt like was could just walk into this story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Scarred.
