Crescent City Book 1
Bryce Quinlan is half-human half-fae, and known as a bit of a party girl. But when her closest friends are murdered, it changes her completely. When the murders start again Bryce is teamed up with Hunt Athalar, a fallen angel, to figure out who is really behind this.
This is the first book in the Crescent City series. Byrce at the beginning, feels like she is surrounded by these amazing friends, while she’s looked down on. Going through her loss with her shows that she is more than what she first appeared. Seeing how different she is while going through all these life changing events was a great character development. The relationships she has with the other characters help with showing the overall world building. The flow of the character perspective is seamless, and make for an even better story. I loved this book. It is now one of my favorites and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series House of Sky and Breath.
