Inkwell and Brew is a purveyor of the finest writing implements, journals, cards, coffee, and tea. It is in Estes Park, CO. This place is a bookish dream. If you find yourself in Estes Park, it is one place to stop at.
It is near a running river that runs along the back of the main shopping area in Estes Park. You can not see the two story building from the main drive but it is easy to find. When you first walk in, the smell of coffee and teas tickle your nose. What you will find is an impressive assortment of stationary, writing tools, journals, and writing paraphernalia. The place is unique and eclectic. The first level is all for buying a drink and something to eat to something to write with.
On the second floor, you find seating and some shelves of different games that you can play. I wasn’t able to get any pictures of this upstairs area, as it was always full of people. Some played games while others were reading and another was writing. It was just lively enough to feel more like you are in someone’s home and enjoying the company of others, even if you don’t know one another.
I’ve been there a few times. Everything that I have ordered from the shop to drink or eat has been delicious. The staff is friendly and kind, making you feel like you are just one of the regulars, even if it is your first time coming in.
So if you are in Estes Park, CO you should drop in even if it is just for a cup of something to drink or you want a unique souvenir. Your bookish heart will feel right at home here.
