My family and I celebrate Christmas in July. In honor of Christmas in July I thought I’d read a Christmas book for you all.
Candi is not happy with her father’s announcement of a mate hunt with her as the prize. She has always wanted to hold out that she would one day find her mate. While running from her pack mates she takes a chance and goes to another pack for help. Only she ends up getting stuck in their chimney.
This is a prefect book for what I was looking for, something quick and fun. This has a lot happening in a very short time. Candi is a strong female character who has lived under her father and just wants to be free to live her own life. She is snarky and quick on her feet. I liked this book and it fit everything that I was hoping for. If you want a little holiday cheer for this hot summer this is definitely something to add to your TBR.

Please Note- Candi dealt with bullying (mainly when she was growing up), and some of that is discussed in this novella (there are references to her bully’s treatment of her, and a scene where she recalls some of her past). There is no bullying from her fated mates! This book features spice and the kind of hardwood that doesn’t need to be set on fire to heat you up on a cold winter evening… if you catch my drift. *wink*”
