Chloe left her cheating fiancé going with her girls on her honeymoon instead. She’s a wreck and ends up propositioning a guy she doesn’t even know. Only he’s everything her ex wasn’t, a true gentleman. But it doesn’t end well. Then she is finally starting her new life in a new city and ends up in his employ. Life has a weird way of working out.
This is the first book in the Playboys of New York series. Chloe is one of those characters that is written perfectly flawed. She’s smart, great at her job, and a little self deprecating. Noah is not what you expect and is so kind. The two together have such a great relationship, even when they have awkward moments. And Chloe’s friends are brilliant, all smart and are true ride or die. They whisk Chloe away when she needs to just get away, no questions asked. It was so sweet. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Strictly Forbidden.
