The Empyrean Book 3
Violet has to figure out how to how to help the Continent. As well as find a cure for Xaden. Then figure out what her parents have left for her and her sister. All while taking classes and dealing with a teenage dragon.
This is the third book in the Empyrean series. The Sorrengail siblings are brilliant together. Between their roles with in the story and with one another it was brilliantly written. Violet is going to move forward whether command wants to agree or not. Though there is more going on politically than I would have expected. The changing of perspectives from characters we have not had before was such a bonus too. As well as how she deals with these changes is seamless. It is a book that keeps you on your toes and wanting to turn the page to find out what will happen next. I loved this book and will say I think it's better than Iron Flame. I can't wait to see where this series will go from here.
