This is a Science Fiction/Fantasy book that is one of my absolute favorites of all time. Whenever I am in a reading slump, this is one of my go to reads.

Our main character Mary, is a knight that fights in tournaments in a virtual reality game. She also teaches new players who want to learn to play. After flying home from one of these tournaments, she has a brush with death. Then things happen in her real life that she has to figure out to save herself. The story is brilliant with just a splash of romance to add more to the characters.

Mary is one of those characters that is strong and independent and she has a hard time asking for help. She is a well-developed character. Since you are seeing through her perspective of this world, it hooks you early in the story.

Tell me if this has helped in your choice to add this book to your TBR.
