Ivy a college student at Thornfield Academy who also moonlights as Poison an assassin. No one knows that they are the same as Ivy is a shapeshifter. The three kings of her school, Torin a vampire, Bram a dark Fae, and Tate a warlock, all want something from Poison. What started out as a physical release has turned into so much more. But when Poison is set up for a job to kill Torin's dad, what's a girl to do?
This is the first book in the Kings of Thornfield. The fact that Ivy is a shapeshifter who can change her appearance into whoever she wants, and using this talent to become the perfect assassin. When we first meet the guys, they seem like arrogant sleezebags. But as we get to know them independently we find out how brilliant they are especially together. I love Tate's mind. Torin is dark and exactly what you expect from a vampire. Bram is a bit thick but in all the right ways. I I loved reading this book and can't wait to read the next book in the series, Torn Ivy.
