Darcy and Tory are ready to throw in the towel and leave Zodiac Academy. But as their plans unfold, they both realize this isn’t like them and they will not be run out. Much to the shock of the heirs. The girls do decide that they will show the heirs that they aren’t to be trifled with, coming up with schemes to get back at each of them. But things have changed with the heirs too. Caleb has changed after what they did and to Tory. And more is going on with the others as well. Will they all figure out how to work together or will the Nymph find that they have an opening in everything that is happening?
This is the second book in the Zodiac Academy series. Tory and Darcy are ruthless in this book with what they do to the heirs. Though at one point Darius and Tory come to an agreement, it is short-lived. Tory and Darcy also add Geraldine to their group of friends, as she has proven to them that she only wants what is best for them. She also helps in the twins’ schemes in getting back at the heirs. The story picked up right where the last one ended and I read them back to back. It mainly was because I couldn’t put it down. The world is so well constructed. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read the next one, The Reckoning.
