Abieville Love Stories Book 1
Kasey is coming home to Abieville to her mother's crazy idea of a Christmas in July Celebration. The whole family is coming together to help cheer up their grandma and aunt, who both have lost their husbands. But then the one person she doesn't expect to be in town is there. Beau Slater is her brother's best friend. He is the one who had tormented her while they grew up together. Now they are being thrown together by their parents. Will Kasey be able to handle him and the family's crazed holiday cheer?
This is the first book in the Abieville Love stories series. Kasey is trying to get her dream job, but she still struggles with her feelings. Beau is struggling with his own feelings. His character is so well developed. I enjoyed the transitions from one character to the other. Kasey’s dialog both with other and within was fun and had me laughing more than once. This was a perfect story for Christmas in July. enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series, That Time I kissed the Groomsman Grump.
