Review of entire trilogy: Variant Lost, Vital Found, and Vivid Avowed
This story takes place in a world that is like ours only with people who have abilities and they are called Variants. The main character is Eve, and she is very interested in science and the Variants. Eve is one of my favorite kind of characters, brilliant, kind, but cautious. When we meet the other characters, you feel like you are a part of their group/family. And don’t get me started on the guys. Ethan the athletic foodie with a fire Variant. Josh the book worm who pays close attention to everything and is a telekinetic Variant. Tyler, the teacher and human lie detector, Variant. The brooding Alec who has a pain Variant. These men are so well written. They are so different and yet they are family.
The character growth with all the distinct characters is well written and keeps you engaged throughout your reading. I loved reading this trilogy. I would enjoy reading more about this world with new characters. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it.
