Raeve is part of the rebellion taking out people who cause harm and to hurt the ruling class where she can. She's the one they call in to do the dirty work. She lives only to help her cause and for Essie. Kaan has been in mourning for years try to collect all the shards of a fallen moon. But by coincidence, these two come together. Raeve is drawn to him but knows being alone is better. Only circumstance push them together. Will the world be able to handle the outcome?
This is the first book in the Moonfall series. The world we find ourselves in is rich with magic and dragons. Raeve is such a dynamic character, having hidden depths even from herself. Kaan is every mournful brooding character but with such a big heart. There is so much happening with in this book, it will keep you turning the page. The perspective change is smooth and flawless. I couldn't put this book down. This is in one of my top favorite fantasy books and I can't wait to read the next book in this series, The Ballad of Falling Dragons.
